The Continental President of Women in Maritime Africa (WIMAfrica) , Mrs Jean Chiazor Anishere (SAN) has been listed among the personalities honoured by the Maritime Academy Of Nigeria Oron, Akwa Ibom
The academy named some buildings and roads in the Academy after President Muhammadu Buhari and other prominent Nigerians in the maritime and other sectors.
Recalled that Mrs Jean Chiazor Anishere has been a contributing factor to the academy, she as she had in the past, donated copies of her great books titled : “Essays in Admiralty ‘ Vols 1, 2 and 3 to the library of MAN ORON of which she disclosed has been her joy towards contributing to the knowledge of the young cadets and has won her honor at the academy.

According to the Academy, more personalities who contribute to the training of cadets would be honoured as time goes by.
Reacting to the honor bestowed on her, the Continental President was full of joy and expressed her gratitude to those who norminated her, ” It feels really good to be appreciated and I find this recognition so encouraging. It will surely spur me to do more for our cadets in terms of securing jobs for them and encouraging them to greater frontiers.
” I thank all those who nominated me for this huge recognition and I pledge to do more for our upcoming Institute at MAN ORON” She said.
