Eid-Ul- Mawlid: MWUN Rejoices With Muslim Faithfulls

The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) under the leadership of Comrade (Prince) Dr. Adewale Adeyanju, fnli, HFCPSP, felicitates with Muslim Brothers and Sisters in the country and in the diaspora, given the tenents of the Islamic injunction.

The occasion of the Eid-Ul-Mawlid is to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Unto Him).

Therefore, in honour of the  Prophet, His birthday is being celebrated by all Muslim faithful across the globe today.

Dr. Adeyanju admonishes all Islamic Ummah to use the event to reflect wholeheartedly on the teachings of the Holy Prophet while He lived doing good on planet earth.

He implored Muslims across the country to eschew bitterness but to pray fervently for enduring peace in the land, while extending good hands of fellowship towards one another, regardless of tribe, ethnic diversity, language, political or religious differences amongst all citizenry towards building a strong and a prosperous Nigeria that will accommodate all and sundry.
