The Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN) has announced the passing on to glory of the wife of the Secretary General of the union, Comrade Felix Akingboye,
According to a statement made available.by the Deputy Secretary General, Training, Education and Media, Comrade Erazua Odigie Oniha, the unfortunate incident happened on Monday, 10th October, 2023, after a brief illness.
Comrade Akingboye has been in the service of the union for more than three decades and his wife, Mrs. Abike died on Monday at the age of 72year after a brief illness
The press statement reads “Comrade gentlemen of the press, it is with a heart full of grief that the maritime workers union of Nigeria announce the unfortunate demise of Mrs. Abike M. Akingboye, the lovely wife of our chief scribe and secretary General of our great union – MWUN , Com. Felix S. Akingboye.
“The incident occurred on Monday 10th October 2022 after a brief illness.
May her gentle soul rest blissful in the Lord’s bossom.”
