The Management of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council, has paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Assistant Inspector General, (AIG) Marine Command, Muhammad Uba Kura.
The team which was led by the Director, Consumer Affairs Department, Chief Cajetan C. Agu paid the visit in other to congratulate him on his appointment and also enlighten him about NSC’s activities as Port Economic Regulator
Agu highlighted the Council’s roles in ensuring Ease of Doing Business in the Maritime Industry, some of which include freight forwarders rate negotiation, recovering monies from imposed charges and enforcement, amongst others.
He urged Uba to visit the ES/CEO at NSC Head Quarters to further cement the relationship between the Council and the Maritime Police.
