CREFFPON To Embark On Familiarization Visit To Brokers , Others

The Congregation of Registered Freight Forwarding Practitioners Of Nigeria – CREFFPON , has made known its  itinerary  of visitation and mobilization to freight forwarding Associations and critical stakeholders ( groups and selected individuals) in the industry. 

This is in pursuance to the mandate of its voluntary movement aimed at salvaging its noble Profession; to strengthening the administration of its regulatory council towards attaining optimal regulations and leaving no stone unturned towards  the enthronement of professionalism in the freight forwarding sector.

According to a press statement signed by the admin personnel of the association, Edwin Chukwudire  the familiarization cum mobilization program is scheduled to run for two weeks with the aimed to bring to fore, professional issues mitigating against the well being of the professional and those that have choked and threaten the Profession itself and to solicit the corporation of all and sundry in this regards.

The press statement reads  “The essence of this visitation is in recognition of the vital roles each of the Association has played in the industry, hence its spreads and networking is apt towards achieving priorities. 
‘Second, is a mark of respect especially in the reality of the fact  that a tree does not make a forest more so in a huge Industry like the maritime sector of the economy. Thirdly, is in the propagation of “an injury for one is an injury for all. Implying, what affects me affects you”. It reads.
he Associations  shortlisted for the visit are said to include: Maritime  Integrity, Edo Maritime, Owerri Freight Forwarders,  P. M.A.L,.Odua Maritime , IFFA and  Maritime Stakeholders.
Others are Maritime Advocacy. Igbo Maritime, Maritime Pillars, Okigwe Maritime, Abia Freight Forwarders, APPFLON, NAGAFF, ANLCA, AREFFN, NCMDLCA  and NAFAC.
“At the end of our visitation, we shall have a course to keep the Practitioners abreast with an agreed program of actions” he added.
