The officers and men of Seme Border Command of Nigeria Customs Service has uncovered yet another illegalities of the die hard smugglers operating at the border corridor.
The Command busted smugglers antics , while they suffer huge loses as their operational equipments and tools were seen littering the Seme Beach.
Officers of the Command under the watch of Comptroller Dera Nnadi grounded a Smugglers boat with numbers of jerry cans for smuggling of fuel which runs aground at the beach.
It was recorded that the achievement was attained by Officers of Nigeria Customs , Naval and Immigration personnel with the assistance of some labours who helped in removing the boat and the jerry cans from the scene.
The Command has in the last few months intensified its chase after all forms of border illegalities by bringing Smugglers to bear since the resumption of Comptroller Dera Nnadi as the Customs Area Controller of the Command.
The Command under Nnadi’s watch in less than four months has recorded mind blowing seizures. Notable among them is the fake $160m US Dollars and arrest of military personnels in connivance with illicit drugs.
