Master Mariners Applauds Comrade Adeyanju Admirable Leadership Roles

The  Nigerian Association of Master Mariners (NAMM), under the leadership of Capt. Tajudeen Alao recently commended the President -General of Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Comrade (Prince) Dr. Adewale Adeyanju, fnli HFCPSP, for his exemplary leadership roles which has led to the transformation of the Union.
Captain Alao was full of praises fo the good self of the indefatigable Prince Adeyanju over his dynamic leadership qualities for facilitating the peaceful resolution of a longstanding dispute of twenty -three (23) years between the faction loyal to the pioneer President -General, of MWUN, Comrade Uzoije Ukaummunna and the succeeding leadership of the Union.
The President of NAMM also said that with this united front, a lot will be achieved for all the maritime workforce;  praying for the MWUN President -General for God’s guidance, and more wisdom and knowledge, which will continue to strengthen him to surmounting all challenges in his good office
It could be recalled that the leadership of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) under Comrade (Prince) Dr. Adewale Adeyanju, recently  brokered the long awaited truce with its pioneer President – General, Comrade Uzoije Ukaummunna  at his residence in Lagos.
The leadership tussle which engulfed the Union and the former President -General resulted in a face-off that had lasted for 23 years. But history was made and the much awaited peace was brokered as Comrade  Adeyanju with his entire executives take the decision to laid to rest the protracted fuss in other to pave way for the reunion with one of its “founding fathers”, Comrade Uzoije Ukaummunna.
It was on record that during the accord event, Comrade Adeyanju  threw the entire premises of the former President – General into a  presidential ceremony, by praising Ukaummunna for his doggedness, resilience with sheer tolerance during the turbulent period.
