Muyiwa Lucas of The Nation newspaper and a member of Association of Maritime Journalists of Nigeria (AMJON) has been nominated for Nigeria Media Merit Award maritime reporter of the year.
Tagged the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) prize for maritime reporter of the year, the organisers disclosed in an Invitation email sighted by our reporter, that the winner in the category will be announced at the presentation ceremony in Lokoja , Kogi State between October 28 and 31 , 2021.
Lucas has been invited as a special guest to the NMMA programme, which is usually a grand reunion of media leaders, veterans and practitioners in company of distinguished members of the society , where the winner will be announced
According to Ayoola Tosan Faluyi,General Administrator of the event , special arrangements have been made to host Muyiwa Lucas and other nominees in Kogi from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st October 2021
