The Nigeria Customs Service, Oyo/Osun Area Command on Tuesday 12th October 2021 decorated 38 newly promoted officers of the Command.
While addressing the newly promoted Officers, the Customs Area Controller in charge of the Command Comptroller Adamu Abdulkadir commended the Comptroller General of Customs Col. Hameed Ali (rtd) for making the promotion exercise merit driven and transparent.
Comptroller Abdulkadir admonished the officers to redouble their efforts in order to justify their new ranks, while ensuring they remain dedicated to their duties and maintain a high level of discipline and integrity.
He urged the newly promoted officers to see their promotion as a call to do more by being more dedicated to their job and the service.
Abdulkadir however urged the officers who didn’t get promoted not to feel left out but to continue with their service delivery as their time to be promoted will come soon.
